Hi Altere,

Although the guys here are very helpful perhaps your best bet is to try and catch IEEE himself at http://www.net-tyme.com.

Kind regards

BTW. IEEE did post a precompiled version on his webby (http://www.shambels.com/pr/RQPx[PR]0.8.5_COMPILED.zip) if that helps.

Kind regards

Mr.B

I have yet to try this on RQ 1.1, I've simply been using a windows machine to compile everything.

Try using QCCX. Here is the source,

ftp://ftp.runequake.com/quake/quakec/co ... 00.tar.bz2

The RQ 1.1 Makefile actually uses qccx, but I suggested frikqcc because I had a precompiled binary for it. At the time I compiled it (frikqcc), I never used the /O2 optimization for the RQ source, but now that I do, I see it does fail. Anyway, use qccx instead. I tested RQ 1.1 using qccx on FC4 both compiling and running (sqpro) and it worked fine.

Hope this helps,
