There is apparently some issues with RuneQuake-v1.2 and QuakeForge-0.5.5-2405SVN. The error below only happens on nq-server and not qw-server, qw-server runs without a hitch btw...

AlphaPC 164SX
Redhat 7.2 [Alpha]
Kernel-2.6.16.1
GCC-3.4.3
Binutils-2.16.x
Make-3.80
Glibc-2.3.2

I thought we had a similar problem last year with QuakeForge. I think it was via e-mail so I'll pick it up from there.

Na not really.. the problem turned out to be nq-server...it wouldn't load much of anything... but I did manage to get Runebot up and running without a hitch along with Requiem runes... Will L G

It's doubtful QuakeForge will run Rune Quake after version 0.5 because it uses QCCX's internal.qc project and depends on the engine code not being touched in certain areas.

The Runebot version you're running now is using Rune Quake 0.2.8 as it's base code, which is why it isn't giving you any problems.

QuakeWorld will run because it uses different code that doesn't utilize internal.qc.
