Slot,

I am wondering if it is explicitly possible for when a game is over for the results to be output to a continuous game log file (preferably tab delimited with the output date stamped and level stamped:

For example (pretend wannabe file):

Code:
****** RESULTS: DM6 - 09/27/03 - 06:16:00 PM
Toyo_MR2 50
Some Guy 45
King Camper 12
Sniffy 8
****** RESULTS: DM1 - 09/27/03 - 05:46:00 PM
Toyo_MR2 50
Some Guy 27
King Camper 23
Sniffy 14

I am not asking you to code this, although if you want to, I will develop a way to integrate it into this web site and make it look cool.

(It would also be sort of cool if the output were XML like, etc.)

Code:
<level>DM6</level>

Basically, I am wondering if this possible. I would like to liven up the Shmack server to make mini-screens in the Quake font that show the results for the prior evenings games

... basically I have some ideas to make some really cool stuff but I'd need an output text file first.

But the main question ... is this actually possible? Or can file output only be to the console log? If it is possible, although I'm not big time into Quake-C, answer as if I were Quake-C knowledgeable (because someone else said the barrier was whether another log file could be generated.)
