What if certain runes, in fact, trigger strange events and you don't keep them. These runes wouldn't be called "Runes" but perhaps something else to distinguish them (Stones? Dunno, don't like that name). For example, The Stone of Darkness - it becomes Dark in 10 ten seconds and lasts for 10 seconds. The Stone of Health - Spurts several health boxes randomly in the area. The Blink Stone - You are randomly teleported (blinked a single time). The Zombie of Doom Stone - A Kamikazee Zombie is spawned that throws gibs and does a Kamikazee explode when killed, attacks everyone with gibs. The "It's Not Your Shambler" Stone - Spawns a Shambler that simply attacks everyone. Bad idea, good idea, I don't know. Just a random thought. |
