I was hoping to find out which maps are preferred for deathmatch. I usually like city/street kind of maps

Where can I find some good maps and to which directory do I install them? |

Let's pretend your quake directory is located here: C:\Program Files\id Software\Quake\ So then you put any additional maps into the maps directory located here: ..\Quake\id1\maps\ There are tons of sites to find maps (not sure if you're looking for single player or multi player).
