Been playing Unreal 2004 and alot of Quake3 Excessive....Stop by and play me a game or few at Flatlizards or Natural Born Fraggers they can be found on Gamespy Arcade... I'm usually under WoodenSoul and leading the score board as usual...

Holy Crap! I just now googled "Dr. Spanker" and "Quake" to see if anyone remembered me and found this thread. It's so touching to see that I made such an impression on your asses. >grabbing a tissue< I quit playing rune-quake (my favorite game of all time) when my old computer crashed and my new computer (at the time) didn't handle the old software properly. Plus it seemed like I could never get a good game. I miss those days when you could just pop in any-old-where and start mercilessly fragging dozens of newbie butts! I'd play again if I knew how and where...I haven't checked out this site besides this thread, so I'm off to have a look. ~Dr. Thaddeus Q. Heheh EzJack! I think I played against you more than any other player. I remember sometimes when we would have like 6 hour sessions. (?!?) Those were the days! I do remember many of these other names too. Some of the peeps who came in after "the list" was made I remember too. Bricklayer, Chuck, Matt, ahh yeah. Those were the days. |

Well I just came back across this post after 5 yrs of being absent, just thought of the old players ancd then looking over the names brings back so many memories. I see Slot is still manning the fort effortlessly and keeping it going like when he started this site back in the day! Couldnt remember the email i set up the BrickLayer account with so I figured might as well throw on the old clan tag. Miss playing Rune Quake and I know I lost my game YEARS ago, but it would be nice to play a game or so here or there. Good to drop in hope to hear from someone soon! |

Yeah I thought Quake was long dead... its funny since I played UT2004/Assault for years and its pretty much dead. Like 1 or 2 players a night.. yet Quake from 1996 is still going strong. So I've been playing quite a bit lately-- still need to practice a bit but getting better! |
