After reading all the changes you made I decided to try JoeQuake as my default Quake client and I noticed each time I connect to a server the first thing it'll do is jump to the menu instead of remaining in the console. Is there a way to change that? And also on a side note, is it possible to have the default layout for the weapons and remove the timer in the upper right hand corner? |

IEEE, are you talking about when using GameSpy to play Quake and starting up JoeQuake from GameSpy? [I haven't tried that, I haven't been using GameSpy in a while] |

What's the matter with the popping up menu? You just simply press an escape and there you go... Well, if you had read through the documentation (JOEQUAKE.TXT), then you would know that "cl_sbar" toggles between QW and NQ style status bars/layouts, "scr_centersbar" for centered HUD and "scr_printstats" for printing the map statistics in the upper right corner. Play with these variables, and you might solve your problem -_- |
