Post subject:  Quakeworld Locs and ProQuake Locs?

How do the Quakeworld loc files work? In ProQuake you basically set different cubes of space to be different areas, but the Quakeworld loc files are static points.

The reason I ask, creating ProQuake locs files are a pain. The Quakeworld ones must be relatively easy to create because there is one for every imagineable map.
