I've noticed that the Y characters (text) are disappearing, and maybe M's. Also the weapon has some gitches in it, while watching it and sitting stationary parts of the weapon will change. Also when you adjust the water alpha the water will have a clipping effect.

And how do you get the weapons and ammo to display traditionally on the hud? Besides having to play with the window in a slightly smaller than full screen mode.

I'm using 0.14dev with a Radeon 9600 series video card.

Good job on it, by the way.

Type cl_sbar 1 in the console and that should do the trick.

r_novis 1 when using r_wateralpha for the transparent water.

Thanks, those last two commands worked perfectly. Now the only issues are the disappearing letters and the weapon partially changing it's animation at random, here's a screenshot of the letter issue:

Just a few screenshots I took. Note the missing Y's and X's.

Update, it's only the lowercase letters, and in a strange bit of irony although I can't see then when typing a message they'll show up after sending. I'm going to try recreating my config file and snoop around for left overs from other mods.

This is strangely odd. Sounds like a driver issue. Does this occur in glquake or qrack, or fuhquake? If you can reproduce the error on glproquake then it might be a driver issue... sinceit doesnt share same codebase (besides quake)

I thought I had it fixed for awhile, I renamed all my config files and recreated new ones and it seemed to work fine. It worked fine until I went back and edited the config file to include r_shadows 1, after that it kept happening. I haven't had time to confirm if editing the config file is actually what is triggering it.

I haven't used those other clients you spoke of, but I've never seen it happen in ProQuake. I did notice there was a command involving the character set, it was set to "original".

Also as a coder I extracted my pak files into their directory structure and at some point I had repaked them into a single pak file (pak0.pak). That's the only uncommon thing I seem to have.
